Who are we?

We are the Newhouse family! A funny last name we know, especially seeing as we are no where near having a house yet, actually we prefer it that way for the time being.  We are Brooke and Harmon Newhouse,  both Idaho natives from opposite ends of the state. We met in April of 2012 in Rexburg Idaho while attending Brigham Young University Idaho. Harmon was smitten with love instantly, Brooke, eh.... not so much, but she came around.  We were married in May of 2013.

Brooke has always been a traveler and loves getting herself caught up in wondrous adventures. Harmon has always been somewhat of a home body who has loved working on classic cars. Brooke has traveled throughout Europe and also has spent a semester studying abroad in Jerusalem, Harmon has been to Utah.

Brooke has made Harmon a convert of world travel, and we have recently decided to travel through Europe on a 2 month backpacking trip (hence the blog backpacksonly). Our goal: to see as much as we can, on as little as we can, with as little as we can! One back pack a piece, 65 days, and the European continent to conquer. We intend to talk about preparations, travel plans, tips, and what we feel are some of our best adventures. If you choose to follow along, GREAT! If no one ever reads this, that is fine as well, as we find it a great way to keep personal record.
